Structure of St Gabriel's Credit Union

 

Like all credit unions, St Gabriel's is a democratic organisation, with the members electing the board, the supervisory committee and the auditor, at the AGM. The board in turn appoints the other committees and the staff.

The Board of Directors
Role: The board of directors has responsibility for the general control, direction and management of affairs, funds and records of the credit union.

Supervisory Committee
Role: The supervisory committee are responsible for checking the books and operation of the credit union. They report to the members at the AGM.
Members: Richie Barry, Sean O'Callaghan and Des Quinn

Credit Committee
Role: The credit committee shall approve loans, for the members, in accordance with the rules and policy of the credit union.
Members: Gerard Brady, John O'Mahony, Anne O'Mahony and Jim O'Neill
