About St Gabriel's
St Gabriel's Credit Union is a industrial credit union for postal and communications workers and their families in the Munster region. We are a financial co-operative owned and controlled by our members, for the benefit of our members. Currently St Gabriel's has just over 2,600 members with assets of over €23 million.
Our Philosophy
St Gabriel's is a financial co-operative
owned and controlled by the members, for the benefit of the members. We
encourage our members to save together so that we can lend to each other
at a reasonable rate of interest.
We are a democratic organisation
with the members electing the board of directors, the supervisory committee and
auditors at our AGM.
St Gabriel's is a member
of the Irish League of Credit Unions, a representative organisation whose purpose is
to strengthen and grow the credit union movement in Ireland.
